Around weeks 13 and 26, it is a tradition to add the use of gold needles on a point referred to as “the happy baby point” (Kidney 9). This tradition is thought to bless the baby with beauty, a calm and joyous demeanor, good sleep, a strong healthy immune system, body, and mind. It is also thought to be a way to prevent negative patterns or ancestral burdens from being passed on to the baby(s).

Beginning at 36 weeks, regular treatments can help to support the ripening of the cervix, optimizing baby’s downward movement, and keeping the birthing person relaxed. Regardless of where you plan to birth, or the type of delivery you’re planning, I am happy to support you.
If you are expecting a scheduled induction or cesarean birth, please feel free to contact me about how I might be able to support you individually.
